11 Nov 2018 - 9:37

IRNA- A member of the Presiding board of Iran’s Parliament National Security Commission, while emphasizing that 11 abducted border guards are in good health, said that since the kidnapped border guards are natives of the Sistan region, the tribal chiefs, sheikhs and elders of the region are also trying for their freedom.

Mohammad Javad Jamali about the report of the Minister of Intelligence at the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission on the situation of the border guards abducted at the Mirjaveh border, said, 'Most of the abducted border guards are from Sistan and the tribal leaders, sheikhs and elders of the region are also trying for their release.'

Fourteen Basij (volunteer forces) and border guard forces were abducted by terrorists in Iran's Sistan-Baluchestan border with Pakistan on October 15. Jeish ul-Adl terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the act.
