IRNA – Iran and the United Sates had no talks in Oman, said Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman on his weekly press conference on Monday.
'Iran and the United states have had no talks, not in Oman not anywhere else, said Bahram Qasemi.
Regarding the neighbors, Qasemi said that Iran is interested in peaceful ties with all the regional countries.
Referring to UK secretary of State Jeremy Hunt's visit to Iran, he said that the UK is one of the European signatories of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), therefore, one of the issues to be discussed can be the Special-Purpose Vehicle (SPV).
SPV is a financial mechnism which is to help Iran and Europe to have banking interactions.
Qasemi added that there are other mechanisms, too, but because the US is trying to affect Iran's foreign relations, he didn’t give any more details.
