ISNA - Arthur M. Sackler Gallery in Washington DC will honor Iranian actress and director, Niki Karimi.
During the event which is due to be held February 17-18, the gallery will screen films with Karimi’s participation as actress and director, following which Q&A sessions will be held with audiences.
Niki Karimi has started her filmmaking career in 1999 by directing the documentary “To Have or Not to Have”, which was produced by Iranian filmmaker Abbas Kiarostami. Then, she followed her career as a film director with “One Night”, “A Few Days Later”, “and Final Whistle” and “Shift-e Shab”.
