Tasnim – Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani ordered the Education Commission to investigate the circumstances surrounding a bus crash at a Tehran university that killed a number of people, mostly students.
Speaking at an open session of the parliament on Sunday, Larijani described the recent bus crash at the Islamic Azad University as “a tragic incident” and expressed his condolences to the bereaved families of those who lost their lives in the crash.
“It is necessary that the parliament’s Education and Research Commission fully pursue this issue and submit the results (of their probe) to the parliament,” he said, adding that all individuals who are to blame should be identified.
Ten students were killed and 27 others injured after the bus overturned on a university campus.
