IRNA – Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh says Iran's gas production has increased by 35 percent, well exceeding Qatar in that respect.

Addressing a group of his ministry personnel, Zangeneh said that in South Pars, Iran could bring equal to 14 phases into the cycle and the national gas output now stands at 610 million cubic meters per day. 'We are well beyond Qatar in this respect.'
