IRNA – Some 200,000 livestock will be imported from Romania next week as part of efforts to regulate local market, said director general of Tehran Province Livestock Affairs Logistics.
Reza Salemi told a session on regulating Tehran province market that to meet the needs for red meat and regulate price of the commodity, some 200,000 live cattle will arrive in Tehran next week.
He further noted that some 2,500 tons of imported eggs were also distributed in the market as of November 22.
