IRNA – First Vice President Es’haq Jahangiri in a message late on Wednesday, said that terror attack on Khash-Zahedan Road will not undermine Iranian people’s resolve to defend the Islamic Revolution; rather it will further strengthen national determination for fighting terrorism.

Noting that the crime w as orchestrated to avenge Iranian nation’s massive turnout in Islamic Revolution anniversary rallies, he ordered Sistan-Baluchestan governor general to immediately identify and deal with perpetrators of the incident.

He expressed solidarity with the families of the victims and wished the wounded swift recovery.

A suicide bomber struck a bus carrying IRGC personnel on Khash-Zahedan Road, killing and wounding dozens.

The terrorist act which killed 27 and wounded 13 was claimed by the Jaish al-Adl terrorist group.
