IRNA – The 18th international tourism exhibition started work with the attendance of 15 countries, including Iran, in Baku, Azerbaijan on Thursday.
About 80 tourism firms from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Georgia, China, Italy, Morocco, Russia, Thailand, Turkey, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Ukraine and Dominican Republic took part in the event.
Speaking to IRNA, Head of Maku Free Zone Mahdi Abdollahzadeh referred to the organizations participation as aiming to introduce Iran’s tourism capacities.
He added that investment for developing tourism infrastructures is also among purposes of Iran’s participation in the event.
The exhibition will be underway for three days in Baku.
