IRNA – Bangladesh's Ambassador to Tehran Mojir Abdulrahman said on Saturday his country is in dire need of energy and various commodities and that is why it minds to broaden cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Bangladesh ambassador said in a meeting with a member of Zanjan chamber of commerce on Saturday.
Bangladesh is ready to expand economic cooperation with Zanjan province, he said.
'We are to prepare grounds for active presence of Bangladeshi businessmen in Iran,' Abdulrahman underlined.
Iran and Bangladesh need each other at this juncture to broaden economic cooperation, he added.
Zanjan province is the second textile pole in Iran and could be regarded as a hub for investment, Abdulrahman said.
Head of Zanjan Chamber of Commerce, Gholamhossein Jamili said the province has huge mineral resources in terms ferrous and non-ferrous products.
Zanjan province is productive in Agricultural products, he underlined.
