IRNA – Iran’s Ambassador to Russia Mehdi Sanaei and Russian deputy minister of industry and trade explored avenues for promoting economic collaboration between Tehran and Moscow.
Cooperation among the Iranian and Russian companies in the fields of industry and mines based on the two countries’ industrial and mineral cooperation roadmap which was signed in 2017 were among the topics discussed by Sanaei and Georgy Kalamanov.
They dealt with collaboration among the two countries’ automaking, railroad and airplane making companies as well as issues on joint cooperation commission slated to be held in June.
Following the US withdrawal from JCPOA last year, cooperation between Iran and Russia has increased, as they both oppose the US unilateral policies against independent states.
