IRNA – Iran’s production of aluminum ingot exceeded 276,000 tons over last Iranian year (ended March 20, 2019), according to statistics released by Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
The statistics say that nearly 53% of the figure is provided by Iran’s Aluminum Company (Iralco) located in central Iranian city of Arak.
Iran is reportedly the world’s 18th biggest producer of aluminum and the country is envisaged to produce some 1.5 million tons of aluminum ingot by 2025.
