IRNA - Pakistan Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan has termed the US unilateral sanctions against Iran as unjustified.

In an exclusive interview with IRNA, he said that Iran is our brother and we think Iran has a right to develop nuclear technology for peaceful purposes under supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency.

“There is no justification of sanctions on Iran and we do not support US unilateral sanctions on Iran,” he said.

The minister noted Iran and Pakistan are like two Muslim brothers. He said that whole Muslim Ummah would soon be united adding that Muslims have to shun their differences and unite for the prosperity of Ummah.

He said Iran and Pakistan share common concern over the ongoing atrocities in Palestine. He said that Iran would also support Pakistan on the issue of Kashmir.

“We have to unite to work for the liberation of Al-Quds,” the official said.

“I would like to assure my Iranian brothers on the behalf of my nation that we appreciate your courage and the way you brought Islamic Revolution under the leadership of Imam Khomeini, we also praise the struggle of brave Iranian nation,” Ali Muhammad Khan added.

He said that Iran has become a role model for those countries who have been the victim of imperialist forces. “Iran has always stood up against the US and Zionist regime and we salute them,” he stated.

He said that Iran and Pakistan are tied in strong bond of friendship and this relationship would grow even further in times to come.

He said that external forces would continue to hatch conspiracies against Muslim world. The official expressing his views said though all Muslims states have their own interests but the foremost consideration should be the unity among Muslims.

“At the end of the day our aim is the same which is the rise of Muslim Ummah again,” viewed the minister.

He said: We acknowledge the way the Iranian fought against all sorts of oppression for the last more than forty years. “That is an example for all the oppressed people in the world that if you want to fight, fight like the people of Iran,” the stated.
