Tasnim – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif held talks with his Iraqi and Omani counterparts about bilateral relations and the latest developments in the region.
Zarif on Sunday held separate telephone conversations with Iraqi Foreign Minister Mohamed Ali Alhakim and the Sultanate of Oman's Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah.
In the first conversation, Zarif and Alhakim congratulated each other’s nations on the start of the holy month of Ramadan, and discussed various issues including Tehran-Baghdad bilateral ties, the latest political developments in Iraq and the region, and the fight against the novel coronavirus.
Separately, the senior Iranian and Omani diplomats talked about the latest developments in the bilateral relations between Tehran and Muscat, regional issues, and joint efforts in the battle with COVID-19.
