IRNA – Iran's foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif is scheduled to address Tuesday's session of the ninth report of the UN Secretary-General which will be held through video-conferencing on Resolution 2231.

Zarif is to deliver a speech to the UN Security Council video conference examining the implementation of the UN Resolution 2231 slated.

The session comes amid US efforts to extend arms embargo on Iran which is due to expire in October according to Resolution 2231.
