SHANA -- The CEO of South Pars Gas Complex announced a 2.5-fold increase in gas production in the gas complex since March 2013.

Hadi Hashemzadeh Farhang in an interview with Shana reporter outlined the activities of the South Pars Gas Complex under Rouhani administrations, saying: “The gas industry has grown dramatically in recent years and it can be claimed that this company is now one of the largest gas companies in the world; This growth has undoubtedly happened thanks to the increase in production in South Pars.”

He also said that all the onshore refineries of South Pars were operational excluding that of phase 14.

The official said that sweet gas production had increased by 155% during the period since 2013 in the complex.
