The new ambassador of Switzerland and the minister of health, remedy and medical training to Iran in a meeting here on Friday were agreed on the need for broadening comprehensive cooperation, particularly in health field.
Iranian Health Minister Bahram Einollahi in the meeting referred to the background of Iran-Switzerland cooperation and friendship, and asked the new Swiss ambassador to Iran to focus her attention on expansion of mutual cooperation, especially in health field.
Einollahi who is also the Iranian head of Iran-Switzerland Joint Commission also announced his readiness for broadening comprehensive mutual cooperation in all fields of mutual interest, especially in health and academic training fields.
The new Swiss ambassador, too, in the meeting announced her country's readiness for broadening comprehensive cooperation with Iran and appreciated the health minister for facilitating cooperation in health field.
Ambassador Nadine Olivieri Lozano also referred to her meeting with Deputy Health Minister for International Cooperation Mohammad-Ali Niknam and her consultations with him.
She said that Niknam had in the meeting referred to the signing of a shared communique for bilateral health cooperation, and another one in academic training cooperation, on behalf of the Swiss health minister during the past couple of years for expansion of bilateral cooperation, and announced readiness for hosting the 3rd meeting in upcoming months during the next few months.
