The Iranian and Egyptian presidents Ebrahim Raisi and Abdel Fattah El-Sisi held a phone call on Saturday to discuss the latest developments in Occupied Palestine and the importance of Islamic unity.
According to The Iran Project,Lebanese Al-Mayadeen TV network reported that the presidents of Iran and Egypt agreed to take serious steps to resolve the outstanding issues between the two countries.
According to the Deputy Chief of Staff for Political Affairs at the Iranian Presidential office Mohammad Jamshidi, this was the first phone call between the two presidents, where Raisi congratulated El-Sisi on his new presidential term, according to an official from the Iranian presidential office.
The two sides also discussed the latest developments in Palestine and the importance of Islamic unity, Jamshidi added.
