The secretary of the Iranian Association of Parts Makers announced that a resolution was ratified to sell 120,000 cars by the end of the year at 5% below the market price.

According to The Iran Project, Maziyar Beiglu made the announcement while talking to Tasnim on Saturday.

A plan has been approved and signed by the Ministry of Industry, automobile manufacturers, and parts manufacturers, that by the end of the year, each automobile manufacturer (Iran Khodro and Saipa) will sell 60,000 vehicles at a price 5% below the market, he elaborated.

According to this plan, people can make their purchases directly and with same-day delivery; It seems that if this plan is implemented, we can stop the hiking trend of prices in the car market and balance the market to some extent, he added.

He went on to say that unfortunately, after a month has passed since the ratification of this plan, no action has been taken to implement it.

Based on this plan, car manufacturers can sell their surplus production. In this way, while solving the financial problems of the parts maker and car manufacturer, the process of fulfilling the commitments will also be done more quickly, he underlined.

Today, the arrears of part manufacturers are more than 50 thousand million tomans, of which 12 to 13 percent are due to be paid, he concluded.
