The head of Alborz Province Medical Emergency Management Center announced that the number of injured at the explosion incident in the cosmetics factory in Fardis reached 53 people.
According to the Iran Project, the head of the Fardis Municipality Fire Department said a massive fire blast in a cosmetics factory in Fardis has left some injured.
Hossein Ashouri stated that this incident was reported to the Fardis Fire Department around 15:30 today, and rescue teams were immediately dispatched to the place.
The total number of injured transferred to medical centers by rescuers is reported 24, Ashouri added.
Reportedly, some of the wounded in this incident are in critical condition.
The factory’s fire blast was caused by a gas solution, and the firefighters are trying to fully control it, he noted.
