The founder of photovoltaic value chain production in Iran says the country will set a new record in the world by constructing of 4500 megawatts of solar power plant.
According to The Iran Project, Pajouhan made the remarks while speaking to ISNA reporters on Saturday.
After winning the investment tender in the construction and operation of a 4500 megawatts solar power plant, the implementation measures of the construction project of 1500 megawatts solar power plant have started in 34 locations with an area of more than 2250 hectares across countrywide, he stated.
Elaborating on the construction project of a 1500 megawatts solar power plant in various provinces, he stated that the licensing process in some provinces such as Sistan and Baluchistan is progressing well and soon we will hand over some land to start the construction of the power plant.
Of course, the administrative process in some provinces for taking over the construction lands is slow, which should be facilitated, he added.
“If obtaining permits is facilitated and accelerated, the administrative process and the financing of projects and the import of some required items are done with special support.”
it will greatly help to speed up the implementation of the project, Pjouhan asserted.
Besides this, engineering groups have been formed and engineering measures have started he said.
Also, the construction engineering documents contract will be concluded in the next few days, he added.
Concurrently, negotiations have started for the supply of items and equipment needed for the construction of solar power plants, he stressed.
