Three people who were injured in the January 3 terrorist attacks in the southeastern Iranian city of Kerman are in critical condition, an Iranian official has said.
According to The Iran Project,Head of Kerman University of Medical Sciences Mehdi Ahmadinejad said on Monday that some 17 people injured in the attacks are still are in hospitals, with 9 of them in special care units and 8 others in other wards.
According to Ahmadinejad, people wounded in the terrorist attacks were hospitalized in 12 healthcare centers belonging to public, private, and military sectors in the city of Kerman, adding that some 195 out of the 284 people injured in the attacks had been hospitalized.
The twin terrorist explosions that rocked a procession on the martyrdom anniversary of Martyr General Qassem Soleimani killed 93 people and injured 284 others.
The Daesh terrorist group claimed responsibility for the two attacks.
Ministry of Intelligence of the Islamic Republic of Iran issued two statements following the attacks, saying that it had made 35 arrests in connection with the suicide bombings.
