Iran’s men’s team qualified for quarterfinals of the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup 2024 on Saturday.

According to The Iran Project,Team Melli beat China 15-13 and Singapore 21-12 in Pool A.

Iran had previously defeated Chinese Taipei 21-10 and Hong Kong 20-10 in the qualifying round.

Furthermore, Iran’s women’s team failed to advance to quarterfinals after being defeated against Japan 17-16 and Thailand 16-14.

There are a whopping 43 teams competing in Singapore. The Qualifying Draw is being held on March 27-28 before the main draw - featuring 12 men's and 12 women's teams - on the following three days.
