The Iranian national men's futsal team defeated the team of Kyrgyzstan 6-1 in the 2024 AFC Futsal Asian Cup quarterfinals underway in Thailand on Wednesday.

According to The Iran Project,The Iranian team headed by former legend player Vahid Shamsaei has powerfully advanced to the semi-final of the 2024 AFC Futsal Asian Cup with the decisive victory over Kyrgyzstan.

The Iranian side has also secured a berth in the 2024 World Cup which is slated to be held in Uzbekistan.

Iran began the tournament held in Thailand with a 3-1 win against debutant Afghanistan, which followed by a 5-3 victory over Bahrain before sealing top spot in Group D after its 4-0 decisive victory against Kuwait.
