Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian has left New York for Tehran following his three-day stay in the US city where he attended the 79th UN General Assembly session.

According to The Iran Project, Pezeshkian and his accompanying delegation headed home early on Thursday. 

Before his departure, the president met with the Iranian residents of the United States, telling them that his administration aims to make Iranians live with dignity and respect both inside and outside of the country.
