Iran's envoy to Baghdad and the top Iraqi security official in a meeting discussed cooperation in fighting terrorism.

According to The Iran Project, Iran's Ambassador to Baghdad Mohammad-Kazem Ale-Sadegh met and held talks with Iraq's National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji on Wednesday.

During the meeting, the two sides conferred on developing cooperation in different fields and combating terrorism.

Recent developments and the current situation of the region were among other topics discussed between the two Iranian and Iraqi officials.
