TEHRAN, Aug. 14 (MNA) – Iranian writer Sadeq Hedayat’s “The Stray Dog” has recently been published in several parts in a Kazakh newspaper in Almaty.
Ainash Kasymkyzy translated the story, which was published in several parts in Dala men Kala.
In “The Stray Dog” (1942), Hedayat relates, through the eyes of a dog, a tragic human story of rejection and alienation.
Sadeq Hedayat (1903-1951) was Iran’s foremost modern writer of prose fiction and short stories.
