HATAY (AA) - Syrian refugees, in Turkey's southern province of Hatay, who fled the more than three-year old conflict in their country, expressed support for the supporters of deposed Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi making the gesture of Rabaa sign, an image circulating on social media, which has become the symbol of protests against the military coup in Egypt.
The refugees said they were deeply sorry for what Egypt has been going through.
Meryem Mustagrai, one of the Syrian refugees, said people were being killed in Egypt like in Syria.
"The depth of our sorrow has increased exponentially," said Mustagrai. "We hope to see peaceful days"
