Tehran, Sept 25, IRNA – International Organization for Migration (IOM), in collaboration with the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, will organize a two-day workshop on “Enhancing Institutional Knowledge of Migration and Development Issues” in Shiraz, capital of Fars Province, on October 2-3, 2013.
The aim of the workshop, which will be attended by senior officials from the Ministry of Interior, will be to enhance participants’ understanding of how to mainstream migration into development planning.

The event - which has been developed in line with the preceding workshops – is funded by the government of Japan, a press release issued by the UN Information Center (UNIC) said Wednesday.
