Russian Lukoil considering return to Iranian oil projects

30 Oct 2013 - 15:52

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Russian Lukoil Company is considering a possibility to take part in Iranian gas and oil projects again if sanctions imposed against Iran are eased.
Executive Director of Lukoil Overseas Gati Saadi Al-Jebouri said, "We will return to Iranian projects if there is a change, and sanctions are lifted."

The company left Iranian Anaran Oil Field in western Iran in 2010 following the US sanctions.

The oil field whose reservoirs are 2 million barrels is run by a convention 75 percent of which is from Statoil (Norway) and 25 percent by Russian Lukoil.
