Xi’an, China, Oct 31, IRNA – Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani, who is in China at the invitation of his counterpart, arrived in the city of Xi’an, capital of Shanxi province, on Thursday evening.

The Iranian senior parliamentary delegation is to visit the oldest mosque in China and an agricultural project in the province on its fourth day of visit to China on Friday.


Head of People’s Congress of Shanxi province Zhao Geng Yung is to meet with Larijani on Friday.

Xi’an is one of the most historical cities in China. It is one of four ancient cities of China, which is a tourist destination, now.

It was capital of China 200 years before Christianity by the name of Changan.

Ali Larijani met and discussed issues of mutual interest with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday afternoon.

The Iranian parliamentary delegation departs China on Friday afternoon.
