Tehran, Nov 18, IRNA – Majlis Speaker’s advisor for international affairs Hossein Sheikholeslam said that an Indonesian parliamentary delegation, to be headed by Speaker Marzouqi Ali, will visit Tehran tomorrow (Tuesday).
The Indonesian parliament speaker, heading a high-ranking delegation, will visit Tehran at the invitation of his Iranian counterpart Ali Larijani.
?During his 2-day stay in Tehran, the Indonesian top parliamentarian is scheduled to hold meetings with senior Iranian officials and parliamentarians, particularly Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani and Chairman of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi,? he added.
“Iranian and Indonesian parliaments are currently engaged in active parliamentary diplomacy and several Iranian parliamentary delegations have visited Indonesia in recent months,” Sheikholeslam said.
Iranian and Indonesian officials have on many occasions reiterated their determination to expand bilateral relations and mutual cooperation in different fields.
