Tehran, Nov 23, IRNA - Turkish Ambassador to Iran Umit Yardim said here on Saturday that Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu is to arrive in Tehran on Monday ( Nov 25).
Talking to IRNA, Yardim underlined that Davutoglu’s three-day visit is aimed at holding talks with Iranian officials on issues of mutual interests and participating in the Meeting of the Council of Ministers (COM) of Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) in Tehran.
Iran and Turkey have always enjoyed cordial, brotherly and high-level relations especially in the past three months.
He also added that Turkish President Abdullah Gul has invited his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani to visit Ankara in near future, adding that plannings for visits of the Iranian President to Turkey and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Tehran are underway.
