Iran establishes hotline with neighboring states for security proposes: Police chief

Kish, Hormuzgan Prov Nov 28, IRNA - Police Chief Brigadier General Esmail Ahmadi-Moghaddam said on Thursday that hotlines were established between Iran?s police force and its counterparts in the neighboring countries for security proposes.
Speaking to IRNA in this southern province, Ahmadi-Moghaddam said the Iranian police enjoy close cooperation with the neighboring countries police forces to promote regional security.

He made the remarks in a press conference held in the Persian Gulf Island of Kish.

The brigadier general underlined that regional security should be provided through ?collective efforts of all regional states.?

He stressed that only borders are not enough for maintaining security.

Ahmadi-Moghaddam added Iran?s police enjoy very positive interaction and cooperation with its counterparts in neighboring states to tackle drug-trafficking and settle border issues.
