Tehran, Dec 4, IRNA – Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said on Wednesday his visit to Oman is aimed at following up the agreements reached during the recent visit to Tehran of Omani Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said.
Talking to reporters, Larijani made the remarks prior to his departure to Oman at Mehrabad airport.


He described Iran-Oman ties as enduring, adding that avenues to bolster parliamentary cooperation, following up the agreements reached between the two countries and the latest regional developments will be discussed during the visit.

Larijani is to hold talks with his Omani counterpart as well as a number of other officials on regional and international developments.

Sultan Qaboos heading a delegation was in Iran in September 2013.
