Islamabad, Dec 4, IRNA - A Pakistani analyst on Wednesday said that nuclear deal of Iran with western powers is the success of Islamic Republic’s foreign policy.
Talking to IRNA, Syed Qandil Abbas, assistant Professor of International Relations at Quaid-e-Azam University said that Iran has never allowed western states to violate its sovereignty.
“The courage of the Iranian antion has compelled the western states to change their arrogant approach towards the country,” he maintained.
He added that Tehran and the permanent members of the United Nations Security Council plus Germany have agreed that the country maintains its nuclear enrichment program which is a great achievement.
Abbas added that nuclear agreement reached between Iran and the six world powers recognizes Iran’s right to enrich uranium.
He said that despite all western conspiracies Iran has never changed its nuclear policy, adding that Iran has faced all the challenges by developing its indigenous potential.
The analyst added that the Zionist regime and some Arab states are worried about Iran’s nuclear deal because their monopoly in the Middle East has been challenged. He added that Iran has come to a point where the country can hold talks with western powers at an equal level.
“The deal would further isolate Zionist regime and certain Arab states in the Middle East,” viewed the intellectual.
He reiterated that Pakistan must learn from Iran and develop its own resources despite depending on foreign aid.
He added that Pakistan-US relations are tense right now ‘but we have to strengthen our economy if we want to stop US aggression in the country.’ “If we want to maintain our sovereignty we have to make our economy strong,” he said.
He stressed that Iran is an excellent example of resistance and has never permitted any world country to violate its sovereignty.
