Dushanbe, Dec 7, IRNA – Kyrgyzstan Minister of Science and Education, in a meeting with Iran?s ambassador to Bishkek, called for more educational and scientific cooperation between the two countries.
Kanat Sadykov, in a meeting with Iran?s Ambassador in Bishkek Ali Najafi on Friday, by underlining historical and cultural commonalities between the two countries and by referring to Iran?s scientific progress, underscored scientific and educational exchanges and close ties and cooperation between universities and educational centers of the two states.
He said that signing a cooperation document between the two countries is important to increase communication between scientific and educational centers.
Najafi, for his part, expressed Iran?s readiness to strengthen cooperation in this field given the growing trend of relations in different fields.
Kyrgyzstan has six million population and is a neighbor to China, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
