Ankara, Dec 14, IRNA – Iranian skiers won two gold and bronze medals of the men’s small slalom, getting qualified for the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic.
Hossein Saveh Shemshaki, the gold medalist and Mohammad Kia-Darbandsari, the bronze medalist got the required points to reserve tickets for Iran in the 123-day Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Torch Relay, scheduled to be held from Feb 7-23, 2014.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Forough Abbassi took the fifth place in the women’s slalom contests.

Skiers from Iran, Greece, Turkey, Armenia, Tajikistan, India, Pakistan and Georgia have taken part in the 7-phase competition.

Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics will be held in Sochi, Russia from Feb 7-23.
