Beirut, Jan 4, IRNA - Deputy Secretary General of Hezbollah Sheikh Naim Qassem here on Saturday described the United Nation’s adopted resolution based on Iranian President Hassan Rouhani’s proposal for a World Against Violence and Extremism (WAVE) as a global charter for combating terrorism, violence and extremism. 

Talking to IRNA, Sheikh Qassem stressed that Hezbollah has praised President Rouhani’s WAVE proposal adding that terrorism has become a dangerous phenomenon for the world and the region.


Pointing to the spread of terrorism, violence and insecurity in the region and across the globed, Lebanon in particular, he stressed the importance of Iranian President?s proposal.
