TEHRAN Jan 14 (Shana) :DOHA:Dr Adeli, Secretary-General of Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), paid a courtesy call on H E Mohammed bin Saleh Al Sada, the Minister of Energy and Industry, Qatari newspaper Peninsula reported.
The Minister and Dr Adeli exchanged views on the role and significance of GECF in global gas markets and issues related to the GECF member countries. The Minister offered his support to the forum and emphasised the importance of GECF expressing the views of respective countries on gas markets and developments in the sector.


Dr Adeli reiterated his commitment to promote GECF as a reference point in gas markets through closer interactions with stakeholders and to organise specialised sessions on the dynamics of gas markets to raise GECF international dialogue-profile in the gas sector as well as to position the Secretariat as a Global Centre for Gas.
