Tehran, Jan 14, IRNA – Ali Daei, former Iranian footballer who currently coaches Persepolis club in the Iran Premier League has entered the Guinness World Records 2014 with 109 goals in 149 games.
Born in 1969, Daei was former captain of Iran?s national football team and is the World?s all-time leading goalscorer in international matches.
He has played for famous clubs such as Bayern Munich and Hertha BSC and was a member of the FIFA Football Committee from 2007-2013.
Arab media refer to Daei as the “legend” of the Asian football.
He also scored unforgetable goals while playing in the European league.
