The EU has put Iranian Minister of Energy Majid Namjoo and 34 Iranian companies and banks on a �black list�.




The EU bulletin published on Tuesday reads that Namjoo is a member of the Supreme National Security Council which determines Iran�s nuclear policy.

The EU has banned the Iranian minister�s trips to the EU countries and has also frozen his assets in European banks.

A new package of sanctions against Iran was approved at a session of the EU�s Foreign Affairs Council in Luxembourg yesterday.
