Tehran, Feb 17, IRNA – United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Antonio Guterres arrived here Monday morning for talks with Iranian officials.

He is to discuss the situation of Afghan refugees with the Iranian authorities.


He will hold meetings with the Interior Ministry?s head of foreign expatriates department, a number of Foreign Ministry officials and education minister.

The UN official is also scheduled to meet with representatives of Afghan and Iraqi refugees living in Iran.
