Tehran, Feb 18, IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani said on Tuesday Iran attaches special significance to security and stability in Africa.
In a meeting with Speaker of Ivory Coast’s Parliament Guillaume Kigbafori Soro on the sidelines of the 9th OIC Parliamentary Union session in Tehran, the president said that expansion of relations with Muslim African countries is high on the agenda of Iran’s foreign policy and Tehran wants more enhanced relations with Ivory Coast.
The Ivorian parliament speaker, for his part, conveyed warm greetings of his country’s president to President Rouhani and voiced Ivory Coast’s readiness to promote ties with Iran.
