?Every year on February 4, the UN commemorates World Cancer Day which gives us a chance to raise our collective voices in the name of improving knowledge around cancer and dismissing misconceptions about the disease.
He made the statement on the occasion of the opening of a charity bazaar in Tehran.
The Behnam Daheshpour Nowruz Charity Bazaar opened Tuesday morning to raise funds and awareness of the need to unite against cancer. The main aim of the bazaar is to finance the construction and equipping of a bunker room.
Lewis added, ...Through our unity and our contributions we can make this occasion a place where the end of cancer begins.
