Moscow, March 12, IRNA – In a meeting between Iranian ambassador to Moscow and head of Russian Railway ,the two sides discussed cooperation in railway transportation.
Iran Ambassador to Moscow Mehdi Sanaie and Vladimir Yakunin, a former senior diplomat who now heads Russian Railways, in a meeting on Wednesday underlined implementation of former accords for implementation of the railway projects.
Sanaie hoped for expansion of mutual cooperation, especially in railway project commissioning, this year.
The Russian official said in his near future visit to Iran, he would take concrete actions for mutual railway cooperation.
Yakonin said talks with Iran State Railway Co., have been times sluggish and now the time has come for speedy commissioning of the projects.
