Iran fleet saves Indian oil tanker from pirates

Nasim–  The 30th naval fleet of Iran saved India’s oil tanker called “Jok Loc”, after it got attacked by pirate boats, Commander of the Iranian Navy for Operations Admiral Siyavush Jarreh said.
The oil tanker, in the Red Sea en route to Port Sudan, was attacked by a bunch of pirate’s boats who tries to take over the tanker. Upon the help request of “Jok Loc” the 30th naval fleet of Islamic republic opened fire and made the pirates run away.

Iran Navy usually patrols the Red Sea en route to Port Sudan aims to protect peace and tranquility in free waters and convey the [Iranian nation’s] message of peace and friendship to different countries of the world.
