Tehran, June 8, IRNA - Spokesman for Majlis Commission on National Security and Foreign Policy Hossein Naqavi Hosseini said on Sunday that a parliamentary delegation are to visit Oman and Kuwait to help upgrade relations and cooperation with the neighboring states.
Speaking to IRNA, he said that the Islamic Republic of Iran is willing to develop relations with Oman, Kuwait and Qatar so that a parliamentary delegation will visit Oman and Kuwait and the visit to Qatar will take place in another opportunity.
The decision to send the parliamentary delegation to Oman and Kuwait was made in a meeting of the Majlis Commission on National Security and Foreign Policy Commission.
Chairman of the Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi was present in the meeting and gave a report on his visit to Syria heading Iranian parliamentary delegation as observer to the presidential election.
It was the first time that presidential election was held in Syria after three years of unrest, Naqavi Hosseini said.
