TEHRAN Dec 06 (Shana)--Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Namdar Zanganeh visited phases 12, 15, 16, 17 and 18 platforms in the Persian Gulf with an entourage of high ranking managers of oil industry.Minster of petroleum went to South Pars gas field phase 12 platform to examine closely preparations for launching the platform.
Transfer of sour gas from offshore sector to onshore facilities will kick off after turning on the flare of phase 12 platform.
Zanganeh also visited gas treatment facilities of phase 12 and 15 to 18 holding a meeting with the mangers of the projects of the mentioned phases to get familiar with current state of the phases.
Gas refinery of phase 12is expected to be inaugurated by Iranian president Hassan Rouhani after making a final decision on the issue.
