TEHRAN, Dec. 30 (MNA) – The head of Tehran Provincial Penal Court has said Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has been sued for exploiting a plan during his term.
Judge Mohsen Eftekhari told Mehr News that the secretary-general of Iran’s Teachers’ Solidarity Center had filed a lawsuit against former president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on the charges of abusing the Teachers’ Association Plan (drafted and prepared by the Center); “the file has been delivered to the court; however, no judge has heard the case yet,” he added.
“According to the law, any lawsuits against president is directly referred to court and is heard by the court after the necessary investigations,” said Eftekhari.
