TEHRAN, Feb. 23 (Shana) � The National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) and the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on oil and gas industry.

The document was signed during the visit of the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to Tehran in a ceremony overseen by him and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.

Ghadir Investment Company and SOCAR also reached an agreement on oil, gas, and medical products.
